The Gymnastics and Martial Arts Centre (GMAC) at Alexander Stadium has two martial arts rooms that host a wide variety of matted martial arts activities. From Jiu-jitsu and Krav Maga, to Aikido and Olympic wrestling, we offer a whole host of martial arts disciplines in our dedicated studios.

Jiu-Jitsu

Our Jiu-Jitsu sessions offer an intense full-body workout that gets your heart pumping and allows you to build cardiovascular endurance. We offer both children and adult classes at Alexander Stadium, with lessons suitable for children aged 6+.

Whether an adult or child, you will learn the benefits of Jiu-Jitsu from our friendly and dedicated instructor.

Aikido

Aikido training is an excellent program for all-round physical fitness and flexibility. Whether you've done Aikido before, or you're a complete beginner, we can offer adult Aikido sessions in our dedicated Martial Arts space, so you can feel comfortable learning new skills in an inclusive and welcoming environment.

Olympic Wrestling

Our Olympic Wrestling sessions are an excellent way to improve overall physical fitness. Regular training in wrestling helps athletes build muscular strength, improve balance, and enhance flexibility.

These sessions are suitable for children aged 6+ and will enhance strength and instil discipline.
